WHO ARE WE?
We are a local bakery nestled in the heart of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah—specializing in custom cakes and treats that proudly uses "less sugar", no artificial flavourings, preservatives, or additives of any sort; We work with the Real Deal.
MEET OUR TEAM
We are led by two passionate creators who has a real love for all things related to aesthetics, art, and design—which explains BearyBerries' specialty in designing cakes with preserved flowers that look as incredible as they taste.

Fascinated by the art of artisanal creations, our founder pursues her journey as a dexterous cake designer and designs them with a unique flair— a BearyBerries Twist!
With an appreciation for the finer things in life, she values commemorating life's milestones— big or small. She aspires to spread joy from her custom works, and add that special touch for many wonderful life occasions.

Our co-founder's love of handmade creations began in early childhood— when she discovered the satisfaction of crafting something from nothing; the ability to offer something that makes another smile.

She complements this passion with a health-focused viewpoint by crafting homemade 'liang cha' and kombucha. Not forgetting her knack at personalizing crochet goods and preserved flower arrangements.
From a small oven to a studio
We're no different from other start-up bakers who began their baking journey at home.
BearyBerries started off as a home-based business in July 2020 right after the first lockdown in Malaysia. [Fun fact: BearyBerries&the Founder share the same birth month!]
However, a cafe establishment has always been at the back of our minds. A place where the ambience is comfortable enough to be a second home; where family and friends gather around for fellowship and build bonds. Two years later, we announced our soft launch on March 7, 2023.

Our cake shop/studio now serves as our work space and second home for customer and supplier visits to cake customizing, photoshoots, packing, and more. There are no discrete desks here. Instead, a light airy space that encourages teamwork and the spirit of togetherness.
This is just the beginning of our bakery journey, and it has been heartwarming to see our efforts bear fruit. Thank you for everyone's love, trust, and support shown in our services. We truly can't wait for you to explore new creations to our menu in the years to come!

To preserve reusability, parchment paper lines each package's bottom. Our paper bags, boxes, and cartons are recyclable.
